Business 1 : Lesson 95

The lifestyle I would want 20 years from now might change, because you can’t predict the future. However, I won’t let that stop me from writing about it. I believe that the lifestyle I will have is a stationary entrepreneurship. I want to be at home in my state and build a local reputation. This will allow me to make more contacts with people and I will be able to get more business propositions that if I was constantly moving. Also, being at home will allow me to accumulate more money to spend on my business. Finally, I will be able to stay at home, and help with my relatives. Of course, I’ll go into more details about these points, and compare them to roaming entrepreneurship.

The first point, if I stay where I am now, I can start building a reputation in my area as a reliable business owner and get good ties with other businesses. Which in turn, will allow me to go and help my business grow. Compared to roaming businesses (also known as online businesses, really), where I can’t build business ties when I’m traveling the world and gain any reputation because I’m staying only for maybe a week. However, roaming businesses allow people to work for maybe 3 hours on the computer and then they’re done for the day.

Second, being where I am, I will be able to save up more money than moving and spending money. That money can go to my business, groceries, and my medical bills if an accident happens. Then I will also be able to deal with complications that arise in my business. Another thing I could do is save the money for a money back guarantee. In comparison to a roaming business, I will have to make multiple sales a day, let alone a week, to earn a profit from expenses from traveling.

Finally, if I stay at home, I will be able to help my family if they need my help. Say my dad gets sick and needs medication my mom can’t supply, I could be able to help them. Or say my sister needs a computer for schoolwork, I could help supply her. On the other hand, if I’m a roaming entrepreneur, I won’t be near my family to help them, the best I could do is send a letter with money. However, if I also am a stationary entrepreneur, I can stay home and play video games on my time off and relax.

In conclusion, being a stationary entrepreneur will allow me to build a local reputation and get business contacts and customers. If I am a stationary entrepreneur I will also save more money than if I’m a roaming entrepreneur. Finally if I am a stationary entrepreneur, I will be able to help a family matter or business emergency. Roaming entrepreneurs can go anywhere they want, but they will miss out on a business fruit tree. Because if they’d stayed still, their business would grow like a fruit tree, and produce fruit.
